October Begins...

Well everyone, let me see if I can update you on life...
Haley got her ears pierced.
I put purple streaks in my hair.
David's been busy with work, accountability group, Jr. High group, wrestling, and a Crown Bible Study.
Haley & I have been busy with school, we have the first month under our belt!
We are just wrapping up our Softball season and starting our Kickball season, haha, pictures to come.
Oct. 9-11th is David's final session at Discovery, it's been an amazing experience for him and he's learned a lot.
Oct. 16-18th is our Jr. High MY Big Show weekend - it's going to be a great event, David will be with his guys all weekend & I am going to be helping out where I can.
Haley is bouncing around on what she wants to be for Halloween so we'll see where she lands - so far the options are:
Wall-E
Snow White
Ninja
Superhero (again)
She gets to dress up @ school and then we'll be doing our Trunk-or-Treat festival at church and she can be something else then...so she can be 2 things this year.
David & I hopefully get to go to a Halloween Party this year so we'll see if we get to dress up - still don't know what we will be if we do.
Looking ahead we will be home Nov. 3-7th for Jon & Lauren's wedding, and we'll be home Dec. 22-Jan. 2nd, so mark your calendars!
Love you and miss you all!

Haley's First Day of Preschool Yr. 2

Haley's first day of school went very well (first week & a half really). She was so excited about her new backpack - thanks Grandy - and as you can see, she insisted on having her glittery snake in the picture - thanks Dalton & Rhea! She is in Ms. April & Ms. Mechelle's class, she's a High 5. We'll keep you updated on anything new and exciting

Rec Softball

David & I joined a softball team with a couple of our friends. Friday was the first game for us and we had so much fun! David, of course, played very well and I played pretty well too (considering that I've never played before), I've got the Beauchamp/Walker blood in me I guess:-) Here's a video of David running home - not that exciting but at least it's some action. I will try to have some more exciting stuff soon.

Video of Haley

Hey everyone, Haley & I have been playing around with our video camera to see if we can get some videos posted. Here is Haley's audition for the Disney Channel, no she hasn't ACTUALLY auditioned but she could with this:-) I'm sure I'll be posting more videos soon - you'll be sick of them! (or you will get your Haley fix).

Peanut Butter Stories

I know, I know, it's been a LONG time since I posted. I'll try to be better I swear! Today I helped David do some stuff for work (I might be taking on the job of assistant for him, we'll see) and Haley, poor kid, entertained herself:-) (these pictures are not from today surprisingly enough)

Ok, so funny story - Haley likes Apples with peanut butter, so I sliced up an apple for her and then just globbed some peanut butter into one of those little creme brule cups. Maybe 10 minutes later she comes walking out of her room with the Creme Brule cup attached to her face (see Pic 1). I ask, "What are you doing?" and when she moves the cup to respond I see this (Pic 2)covered in peanut butter. Hahahaha! While I am telling her very sternly to never do this again, I am also getting my camera out & asking her to re-enact, while reiterating that she should NEVER do this again and it's not funny:-) I think she got the hint, that's why she's not smiling.

Top of the World

I know that these pictures are much belated! These are pics of Haley helping Pop drive the tractor @ Top of the World! It is one of her favorite things to do and she takes it very seriously...most of the time. There's also a pic of my sisters & I at my parents property too.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a very cool pumpkin patch in Flower Mound - a little town North of us - with Wes & Missy. It was Haley's first Pumpkin Patch (I know I can't believe I haven't taken her to a pumpkin patch for 3 yrs.), as you can tell by the picture where I made her stand in the "My-First-Pumpkin-Patch" cauldron. FYI: All of the Mom's & Dad's were making their adorable little babies SIT in the cauldron, and you could barely see their heads:-) Haley did not think that she looked so adorable. Seriously, I could have waited till she was 13, then she would really be embarrased. She was also very excited about standing in Pocahontas's house (the teepee).
